HELLO – ADELE

My favourite sentence from the lyrics is: Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happened?

Hello! I made arrangement for this song around New Year's day. Last year was pretty much Adele’s year. Song Hello was on billboard (the hot 100) number one for weeks. But not only on billboard, it was number one in almost every country it charted in.

It's so hard for me to write about Adele because after her song Someone like you, I belive that everyone knows everything about her. I feel like the lyrics of song Hello are just the second page of the same story of her previously mentioned song Someone like you. She used the same theme of her long lost love. Have you noticed that lyrcis represents conversation?

For RollingStone website Brian Hiatt wrote Adele's view on the song: »As for the line "hello from the other side": "It sounds a bit morbid, like I'm dead," she says. "But it's actually just from the other side of becoming an adult, making it out alive from your late teens, early twenties."«.

Hello is piano ballad and it has very likable soul influences. I have heard that Adele also played drums in the song. It is written in the key of F minor, but I put it in A minor, so it might be slightly easier to play, your welcome.

Lyrics:
 Hello, it's me
I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet
 To go over everything
They say that time's supposed to heal ya
But I ain't done much healing

 Hello, can you hear me?
I'm in California dreaming about who we used to be
When we were younger and free
I've forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet

There's such a difference between us
 And a million miles

 Hello from the other side
I must have called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home

 Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it doesn't matter. It clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore

 Hello, how are you?
It's so typical of me to talk about myself. I'm sorry.
 I hope that you're well
Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happened?

And it's no secret that the both of us
 Are running out of time

So Hello from the other side
I must have called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home
 Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it doesn't matter. It clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore

 Hello from the other side
I must have called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home
 Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it doesn't matter. It clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore
